On arrival to Chichester marina, the Fairline Squadron 43 was presented in immaculate order on the outside, it was noted by my crew that she was a slightly older model and I personally had my concerns whilst walking on board whether or not the vessel would be reliable. On checking the engines, I was presented with a lovely pair of CAT’s which all checked out nicely. They started with no hesitation at all, my confidence immediately growing once checking every electronic gadget that there was on this boat. It even had AIS!
On gently moving her along the Chichester’s waters she handled perfectly with no hint of a problem, On passing Chichester bar the sun was low in the sky and we had perfect conditions albeit a little bit of a head sea.
Our passage was routed through the Solent and out past the Needles towards Portland. She steamed along with a gentle air of grace, which would please any sea goer.
After dodging the Lulworth fire range we proceeded straight to Portland Marina where the owner with a big beaming smile met his boat and assisted us with the lines.
A fantastic second hand boat for sale with the Fairline Squadron pedigree.
