The Olympic Sailing Event is exciting, especially here in the office at JD Yachts. We are centrally located in Weymouth on the Esplanade and offer unique direct views over the Olympic bay. So whilst we are busy making deals on the phone, we also have the benefit of a cool sea breeze, watching the latest race in action.

 

Fairline, Sunseekers and Princesses that we have sold locally are beautifully presented and dressed up in London 2012 flags with their owners soaking up the atmosphere, sunbathing on deck sipping champagne.

 

Live on the water the ladies 470 race is underway with Weymouth’s World Champions Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark hoping for gold, while Bejing 2008 gold winner Paul Goodison started the week with a few setbacks and working his way back up the score board. Meanwhile, hoping for another Gold, Ben Ainslie takes to the water for his last day of racing before Sunday’s medal race.
