James Bond star Daniel Craig has once again shown his support for the lifesavers of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).

 

The actor, who has been a lifelong supporter of the RNLI, ditched his alter ego’s tuxedo to wear a RNLI T-shirt which was later put up for auction on the RNLI’s eBay site.

 

Daniel’s previous involvement with the lifesaving charity includes supporting a station campaign at Hoylake, close to where he grew up, and going afloat with the crew at Ramsgate.

 

Daniel Craig, says: “I am honoured and immensely proud to support the RNLI.”

 

The RNLI is busier than it has ever been and the proceeds from the auction will help meet the growing demand on the RNLI to continue saving lives at sea.

 

‘We are really grateful to have Daniel’s continued support, the money raised from the auction will make a huge difference.” says Jayne George, RNLI Fundraising Director. “The donations we receive help us invest in vital training and equipment as well education to help prevent people getting in trouble.”

 

The auction for the T Shirt raised a total of £770 for the RNLI.
